Jut today my ODO stuck on trip B. I can't switch to any other function and can't zero out trip B. It's still reading mileage just cant switch functions. Does it sound like a bad switch or are there other things I should check? Thanks

There is a short in the button, I had the same problem. You can take it to the dealer or pay around $10 and fix it yourself.

BlkXride,
Let us know what you do. And if you fix it yourself, how difficult it is.
Hopefully, it's not going to be a common problem for all VTXs.

How's Florida? Weather the storm ok?

Thanks Big X.

I fixed the problem. I removed the switch and I believe that it was a simple mechanical problem. I believe that the rubber plunger on the switch had gotten sideways and was not depressing the switch center pin. Once I got them lined up it's back working fine. Your suggestion led me to take it apart and I'm sure I saved myself a nice bit of change. Total cost, zero!

To NC Hammer:
We only had rain and some 40 mph winds from Dennis. No big deal. But it's so early in the hurricane season, so who knows. I think Atlanta got more rain than we did..
