From my experiences with 2 dealers in the Longview-Marshall area:

Fun Motors - Longview,TX - Willing to sell you a bike at sticker and give you less than adequate service. Really nothing good to say about this place.

H&W Honda - Marshall,TX - Will cut the prices on bikes to the bone, not the best sales customer service, but I am very impressed with their service department. Probably the best choice in this area.

North Texas Honda in Sherman is always about 2 weeks behind. I had to schedule the fork seal to be replaced, put on a list for 2 1/2 weeks.

Same here in Odessa, Tx. Sales are great but service really sucks. I called to make an appointment for my 600 mile service. I dropped my bike off and was told that it would be ready the next morning. I showed up everyday for three days and got the same response every time "your next". I just picked the bike up on the third afternoon and did the service myself.

I wish there was a way we could get it through to these shops that if you keep messing with your returning customers that they will not return .

We should open our own shop, then they would learn! Low prices, fast service, awesome bikes, fun fun fun.

I just got my bike back after having a few upgrades put on . Woods honda did a good job but they lost my paperwork , they did not put my fuel back in (lower than 1/4 when I had a 1/2) . I also did not have my inspection done after 2 days . Woods Honda is by far the worse place to get any work done .

If you are willing to make the drive to Searcy, Ar. Go to Sunrise Honda (http://www.sunrisehonda.com) I gave $7599 out the door. They have them for $7799 out the door now. This was the most professional business I have ever been in. I think I was greeted 5 times before I got 10 ft. in the door. Tina was my sells person I delt with on the phone, she was great. She had all the red tape done and the bike ready for my when I got there Sat. morning. After going over a few things with the Service Manager I wrote the check and out the door I went, as the Most Pleased Customer in the world. Props go out to the Personel of Sunrise Honda. Great Job.

H & W in Marshall has been very good to me for the past 4 years. Guess it's because nearly everytime I have had valves adjusted I happened to catch Kyle Hughes working the shop. Usually quick and right on the money with work done. Like that they give me a before and after reading on my valves; kinda tells me that the intervals given for checking are too close together. Fun Motors in Longview is alltogether different. Took a summit conference with the shop foreman, mechanics, and parts desk guy to figure out how long it would take to check valves (H & W was booked up) and the last time took a week to get a sensor replaced on the speedo. If I was really smart I would bite the bullet and learn to do the valves myself; the only thing left I haven't tried on my own. May not matter once I get to try out (at least sit on one) the new Kawasaki touring bike next month at the bike show in Dallas. If I get a new bike the learning process starts again. I guess the bottome line is the more we can do for ourselves the less aggravated we get with the local stealers.
