It's under the left side cover next to the toolkit in a plastic zip-lock baggie. Next to the folded in half MSF "How-to-Ride" manual. :)

Congratulations and welcome!!! :)

I took the manuals out and used the zip-lock for registration/insurance papers.

Interesting how us 80's-00's squid knee-draggers are moving over to cruisers isn't it? It isn't so much mortality awareness and aging as just enjoying the pure fun of riding with bugs in our teeth and acceleration to flatten your eyeballs on demand. Nice to have your head up enjoying the scenery and not hunched over looking at guages, clipping apexes at extreme lean angles with oncoming traffic. And the ladies are FAR more attracted if you're single(I have to beat them off with my tire-pressure guage now, lol!).

P.S. Buy a "bitch bar", bags and comfy rear seat/pegs at your own risk, unless you are already married. My 1300C does not look good with them imho, sorry. :icon_smil

maybe it is age that is making me want to enjoy the views, funny thing about the seat is i took off the rear...and man that bike looks even better without that rear seat...its going to bite me in the but when some chick wants a ride though...but this is one good looking bike

That explains the removeable rear seat. :)

under the seat. take the side cover off (pulls off) and open compartment by inserting key, screwdriver etc. into slot turning then opening door to reveal tool pouch and owners manual. Put it back when you are done...I didn't one time and now it is lost. I need one for my VTX1800N spec 1
