Blessing of the Bikes (the first LSV event of ‘06)

Don’t Miss The First LSV Event Of The Year! I have attended the CMA’s Blessing of the Bikes in San Antonio for the past two years. It is a very nice get together of all kinds of people and bikes. Lots of tire kickin’. The CMA should also have hot chocolate, hot coffee, hot chili and more.
Here’s the route: 2722 to 3159, West on 3159 to TX 46, West on TX 46 to US 281, South on US 281 to Loop 1604 and Wal-Mart (just before the loop on the right (west) side. Hwy 2722 can be reached off I-35 via Hwy 306 (exit 191) to 2673 ( west) or you can travel I-35 to Loop 337 [Rueckle Rd] (exit 184), go right or west to Hwy 46 (Boerne exit). The Valero station is about 20 miles from Loop 337.
The following is an approximate time line:
9:30 am - Leave 174 Quail Run, Canyon Lake (TX) 78133
9:35 am - pass the McDonalds at corner of 2722/3159
9:40 am - pass corner of 3159/TX 46
9:42 am - stop at Valero Station @2 miles w of 3159 on 46
10:05am - Corner of TX 46/US281
10:30 am - arrive at Wal Mart, (just N of loop 1604) on hwy 281
12 noon - 1 pm - Blessing is finished.
