Does anyone have any experience with the Willie & Max saddlebags? I was wondering if anyone knows how they fit and look on a VTX1300C. I like the looks of the Braided Fleetside saddlebags and thining of going the the large size. Which are 16" Wide, 11" High, 6.5" Deep.

I don't have W&M on my 1300, but I ran them on my other two bikes. They are crafted really well, are quick detach via zip-on/off yokes, the bags "lock", but consider that to be a token feature, they have rigid inserts to help keep their shape. All in all, I figure they are a good bargain and they stay looking good due to being synthetic leather.

I think they're excellent. Good bang for the buck. Mine are zip-off like Radioman's. Fake leather but my last pair looked great after years of riding with little maintenance.

They do look good on the bike. I think I'm gonna order them within the next couple of days here.
Thanks for the help guys.

Do you need to use supports with these. I've been looking at several stores. Ebay has some great deals. I also like the bradided large bags.

Hey Highway,
You should use supports with any throw-over bags to keep them out of your rear wheel. Mine are tied to the supports as well to keep them from "flying" up when I'm cruising.
