I got a really good deal on a StreetGlide yesterday in New Port Richey & couldn't pass it up. Still seems sureel. I am having a little buyers remorse today.. went from a paid off bike to a payment again... ouch.

By all means, join us. It's a great group. All kinds of bikes. When I joined there were usually 5 or more VTX's on every ride. Now some of the members have knuckled under to peer pressure and abandoned metric. :hmm2:

There's no club ride scheduled for this weekend, but I'm thinking about doing the Performance Honda ride to the Gulf on Sunday. If you come out, look for the Orange Retro next to a tall skinny dude.

Mark your calendars for Sunday July 15th. and come join Performance Honda for a "Ride to the Gulf" We will meet at the Winter Garden dealership, 16123 West Colonial Drive and pull out at 9am . We will take the back roads (some I know you have never been on) to Bay Port on the Gulf Coast. We will have lunch (each rider pay for his own meal) and return to Winter Garden mid to late afternoon. Ride distance is about 150 miles -NO COST_ FREE TO ALL - what ever you ride. Hope to see you there. If you have any questions you can call the dealership at 407-905-9330 Mon. through Sat.

hey guys, i'm from lakeland. got a friend flying in from washington st. on 6/7-6/8. plan on riding from orlando to daytona area on sat., then over to the west coast on sunday and ride from lakeland to longboat key then north over the skyway bridge. all are welcome. give me a PM if you would like to ride with us.

OK - maybe you can educate me. I've had it now about 2 months. Just the other day I was down level with the pegs and saw that on the VIN decal it said "1300S". What does that mean? It looks retro?

Help my understanding - what do I have and why isn't it an R?

An R has cast wheels, an S has Spokes...only difference.

Yep, what jstar said. You have an "S", it's a "R" with spoked wheels. Otherwise it's all the same, just like mine. Sometimes when you go shopping for goodies, they won't list an "S", just buy the parts that fit an "R".

I'll miss the Coastal run, in fact all runs until late October. I'm a Florida resident but I'm from Michigan and still spend the summers in Michigan, I live in Frostproof near Lake Wales until late May or early June. There are more of us from the area, Kenko and Amos Moses for a couple and Jstar has already checked in. I want to put together a meet and greet when I get back. You guys up for it.
