RT PAL CHARITY MOTORCYCLE RUN FOR THE KIDS
Just a reminder......
On Sunday May 20, 2007, the Rockaway Township Police Athletic League (PAL)
will be hosting its 4th Annual Charity Motorcycle Run for the Kids. This
run is a police escorted run through 55+ miles of scenic Northwestern NJ.
Registration starts at 8:30am at Peterson Field on Fleetwood Drive in
Rockaway Township (off Exit 35A on Rt 80--make a left opposite Rockaway
Mall on to Mineral Springs Road then a right onto Fleetwood Drive.)
There will be FREE coffee and donuts at the registration site. The run,
which starts at 10 am sharp, is a Police escorted motorcycle run through
50+ miles of beautiful Northwest NJ ending at Craigmeur Resort, where we
will have a FREE BBQ lunch, soft drinks and hundreds of dollars worth of
raffle prizes. Plus, there will be a live performance by Frank and Glenn
from the 60’s hit band The 1910 Fruitgum Company!
The donation cost of the run is $20 (when you send in the pre-registration
form with a check made payable to the Rockaway Township PAL before May
10th) and $10 per passenger if any. Breakfast and BBQ lunch are included
in the price. Collector Pins will be available for sale for $5. For those
that do not pre-register, onsite registration is $25 per rider.
The Rockaway Township Police Athletic League is a non-profit organization
and all of the money raised on this run benefits the children.
