Got a Cobra lightbar and the Kury universal wiring harness to install. The harness connects to the battery with a relay and fuse so I needt to get wires from the battery to the headlight. Can this be done without removing the tank? Is this where I want to run this? The harness also has a switch. Your help would be much appreciated.

Go ahead and pull the tank Goldsmith. You will do a lot nicer job with it off. And won't have to worry about scratching the tank either. As far as the switches go. Beside the left side cover, behind the KEY Switch. See the black panel that holds the front of the side cover on. Go over about 1 1/2 in. in the center from where the side cover lock boss is. Very nice place for a toggle with plenty of room on the inside for you relay. It will also have it out of the weather here and can still be reached from the seat while ridding the bike. I have pics somewhere if needed. GG :D

GG, thanks for that info. Pm'd you on the tank removal. I spent the weekend banging on some 1/8" sheet aluminum and will be putting all of my switches and power pod in there. Piece is still not completely blended but good enough to install switches and do some riding. I can finish blending and polish the panel later. I have missed to many goo riding days of late.
