I live in Shreveport and ride everyday. I also know a guy who lives in my neighborhood who rides a VTX 1800 R. We ride together serveral times a month.

Maybe we could meet for a ride sometime if the rain ever stops long enough. I travel out of town for work during the week, but like to ride on the weekends.

Sounds like fun. I'll be out of town the next couple of weekends so lets get together to ride sometime after that. I'll envite the other VTX owners I know here locally.

Anyone here from the New orleans area? We are having a Louisiana X riders meet and greet on August the 26th. I doubt the northern LA x riders will attend. We are meeting at Ryans in Hammond for breakfast at 9:30, then riding from there. You can check out the thread @ www.vtxoa.com (http://www.vtxoa.com) then scroll down to the Louisiana board.

It's been about a year since anyone posted here, did you all move? With the recent cold front that came through and high only in the low 90's maby your all just out riding!

Hey shrevportSS how do you like your sideburners? I heard them on a 1800 and sounded DEEP and that guy said they sounded better on a 1300. I stop at the dealers every once in awhile tring to se a 1300 with them on to hear em but no luck yet. So far i'll get BUBS or the sideburners, if your around sometime let me know, i'd like to meet up with you.

Met up with shreveportSS today, man those sideburners really sound GREAT!! It made my clayton mod sound like a sewing machine lol! Guess i know what my next mod will be. Good to see another VTX rider in bossier ira247! Hope to meet up with you too!

No we kind of got side tracked on the back roads, rode around Caddo lake and just enjoyed the cooler weather! Did stop by the old general store for a good hamburger though. Hope to ride with you when you get back!:choppersm:choppersm
