ok Ive had a bad week. Started losing power on my X last sunday, just intermittant at first. checked battery cables and the ground was loose, tightened it and it seemed to fix it. next day it came back, still just intermittent. Then wednesday it all went to hell, no power, felt like I was running with half an engine. exhaust was louder, backfires were impressive. I checked the plugs, I had one fouled. (right rear) replaced with bosch +4 4419s. no change in engine. first thru 3rd gear is alright, 4th is noticably less power, and 5th gear is not even worth shifting to. Went back out to check maybe having a loose pipe, and noticed oil on the pipe where it goes into the engine. also noticed leakage below on the case. No oil on fins, or around plugs, looks like its comin out of cylinder at the pipe. Dont have a warm fuzzy feeling about this.

I have Cobra pipes on that the shop I bought it from installed. Im goin to lose some sleep tonight with worry. please help. The weekend is here.

notso much worried about leak, its not a leak really. I did the ground fix, my rear cylinder was not firing, came back to life. temporarily at least. meesed with the rear coil and the connection to the ECM. Step Dads out for a test run now, all the fuel/oil was blowback/waste/etc from the dead cylinder. I got the oil on the engine without payin full price for a harley!!!! It was firing front and back when he left. Waiting for him to return.
