i had my rear fender painted and tried to install it but scratched it up pretty bad. Any tips to install rear fender witout scratching it? VTX 1300 Retro

Make sure paint has cured long enough and I would think some blue painters tape and someone to assist. Eyes on both sides would come in handy. Sorry to hear what happened.
