View Full Version : Fork Spring Change
Any special tools required to change the springs in the forks? I did them on a Yamaha 1100 and all you had to do was remove the top caps, slide out the old ones and slip the new ones in. Does anyone have a link to service manual etc.
Thanks in advance for your help

There is a special tool available through Honda for removal of the left side fork spring. The cost is about $40 US. I changed my stock springs to Progressive Suspension springs and got great results. There are some spring tension tubes that a friend of mine is experimenting with (lengthening) to get more travel from his forks. Mike
