I am installing my pciiiusb in my 2003r. I have done the wire (I think) as I am suppose to, but for some reason the unit will not power up. I have bought this unit used and the guy left the map in there for me to try.

placed ground to the battery:

ran the wire up and through did the connections to front and rear cylindrs. YELLOW to the REAR and ORANGE to the FRONT

made the connections to tps with supplied wire tap (the middle one):

(I didn't soder a pigtail because I Didn't know how to disconnect the computer and didn't want to short anything out.)

anyone notice anything I am missing?

Thanks.

here are the instructions sent to me by DynoJet

No offense but my first suggestion is to make your topic title a little more descriptive. :spank:

That's cool...it's fixed though...If you look REAL close at the ground what do you see wrong?

You mounted your ground to the battery cover mount not the negative battery terminal best I can see. Do I win a prize? Looks like something I'd do. LOL

 Give that man a beer...Dang it...LOL...Three days to catch it...Oh well went for a short ride today. Not sure if I like the map in it but I'm gonna give it a little more time and then I'm gonna try another map to see if I like it any better.
