right front fork is slightly brown

The sliding part of the right front shock is turning brown right above the dust seal Looks almost like the brown marks on the exhaust pipes Any ideas

when I did my fork oil it was a black/brown color

you might want to flush the tubes and replace the oil calls for ss-8 which is 10wt

When I replaced my springs with Progressive the fork oil was also changed. I pumped out the old oil as much as I could and it was very dark brown to gray. The new fork oil is red like transmission fluid.
You may have a leaky seal. Keep that area clean and see if it returns.
