Hey guys, last Friday I got caught in the rain (pouring down) in traffic for about 1 1/2 hours. My bike ran great until i got closer to home. When I got it home it started stalling out when i went from 1st to 2nd gear and so on like it wasnt getting enough gas or something. I'll have to roll on the throttle more to keep it from cutting off. I have a Hypercharger Pro R with HK 3', it has been rejetted. I need some help trying to find a startin point if anyone could please...............:patriot:

so chances are ya sucked up some water /rain well im no tech but the first thing i would do is dump the oil . im sure some prolly got down into the crank case . pull the plugs turn the bike over a few times w/o plugs in to get any water that may be in cylinders out it wont help alot but well you get the idea . prolly change em to wouldnt hurt maybe run a can of seafoam or isoprophyl with the next tank of gas the tech guys on here should be able to help way more than i can but this is a good place to maybe start

I was thinking more of water in the fuel line. I posted earlier somewhere about putting a fuel filter in all my two-strokes, and your symptoms are exactly what my bikes had done. I would take the carb off, blow out the main, and then be good to go...for awhile...then the main would get a drop of water, and I'd be right back to where I started. I don't know if that's your problem, but it might be worth thinking about.

Do an oil change as well like stated to make sure there is no water in the motor. Chances are you are fine and you probably just soaked the filter and it is getting all fuel and little air.

Had a friend who owns an HD that got caught in the rain coming back from the Dragon. Engine started running like crap. His air filter was soaked. Fixed it up and ran perfectly fine again.

wet filter is about all, been there with my hyper.

Just took out and ran the crap out of it for an hour and everything was fine.
