cobra slash cuts W/FI2000

This bike runs horrible lots of backfire. I installed cobra slashcuts W/cobra FI 2000. went with there settings horrible tweak till it sounded some what better. But still not very good. Top Gas performance is down to 25 miles per gallon. Any sugestions do I have something totally wrong?

Did you replace the exaust gaskets? make sure to get the nuts tight to specs?
Try disconnecting the power wire to your FI2000,see how it does, the worst that will do is reset your FI to factory specs.
Also if you messed with the air filter check for loose nuts there as well.

I didn't replace the exhaust gaskets. I don't think I'm having any exhaust leaks I did switch the air filter to a K&N filter. I will run and get some new gaskets and reset the fi system.

I have seen guys turn them around,also on your FI2000 all you have to do is reset the pots to the numbers cobra supplied on the instruction sheet.
I'll bet you a beer the gaskets are the issue
