Been looking at upgrading my stock intake and I was wondering if anyone has any experience or info relating to the Kury Corsair. I have noticed it on a few sites recently and it spurred my interest so I called one of the sites and the guy told me it flows more air than any other production filter out there including the Thunder Tornado which is what I was originally looking at but is nearly impossible to find right now. It seems to retail about $30 higher than the Tornado on most sites. Any thoughts? Thanks!

i have had one on my 1800f for about 10 months now and i love it. i haven't seen a bunch of them like the tornado. the only draw back is how far it sticks out. my buddy has a tornado and it fits alot tighter to the bike. if you have high mounted cruiser pegs you won't be able to get your legs to them for this reason.

Thanks for the reply brianb. I actually ended up purchasing the Corsair late last year and have had it on the bike for about 10 months now. I recently rode to Laconia and on the way back we hit a bunch of rain. needless to say I was somewhat concerned about the performance of the Corsair in rain due to the wide open design of it but I'm happy to report it demonstrated absolutely no problems whatsoever. I had my bike dynoed by a local shop here in Akron once the Corsair was on along with some slip on staight drag pipes with no baffle, and my HP peaks at around 93 but my torque is massive at around 116. Definitely worth the investment.
