I installed this thing and now my front turn sig. will not burn but will flash. Brake lights and rear running burn fine but they will not flash when I hit the brake. I went by the wireing diagram in the manual, however I am no genius. This is how I hooked the wires up.
Side without equalizer.
Kury-RED(Output Break) to TAN(Light brown).
Kury-BROWN(Output right turn sig.) to LIGHT BLUE.
Kury-VIOLET(Output left turn sig.) to ORANGE.
Other end with Equalizer.
Kury-BROWN(Input right turn sig) to LIGHT BLUE
Kury-VIOLET(Input left turn sig.) to ORANGE
Kury-RED(NO LABLE) to BROWN.*
Kury-BLUE(Input power) clamped to above BROWN*
Equalizer plugged in due to rapid flashing.
Both GROUNDS to FRAME
Flash mobule is installed.
Please help! Hair was already falling out due to old age but now I am PULLING IT OUT. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tahnk you!

Kury-RED(Output Break) to TAN(Light brown)
The wires for the brake/taillight should be Green/Yellow, Green and Black/Brown....Not seeing the light brown you are calling out.
Kury-BROWN(Output right turn sig.) to LIGHT BLUE. Light blue is good for Right.
Kury-VIOLET(Output left turn sig.) to ORANGE. Orange is good for Left
Other end with Equalizer.
Kury-BROWN(Input right turn sig) to LIGHT BLUE
Kury-VIOLET(Input left turn sig.) to ORANGE
Kury-RED(NO LABLE) to BROWN.* Not seeing what the brown wiring is...could it be Black/brown? if so that should be going to the license and taillight
Kury-BLUE(Input power) clamped to above BROWN* Again...not sure what the brown wire goes to.
I WOULD DOUBLE CHECK THE BROWN WIRE CONNECTION.

looks like the brown wire connection as it is the main power source for brake feed

I tried the swapping of the Kury-Red wires from the brown and the Kury-BLUE wire as we'll over to the yellow green. We'll, it's cool....I hit the brake and the light's(brake light's) flash 3 times and go solid.Oh yea, the running light's do that as well. Here's the problem. I dont have running lights anymore, unless I hit the breaks and the front left sig. is still not working as a running light as mentioned in first post. Still flash's, so the same as from first post.
Oh, can you pull those clamshell connectors back off of the wire and tape or is the wire going to be damaged. I had two of the connectors with the unit, so if the brown is not correct, and the green and yellow is not correct. We'll, you know.
Steve,
The wire I had it connected to was brown. I have no freaking clue here people.

The bulbs MUST installed correctly. They will fit either way but there is only one correct way they will work. Since the stock bulbs work any way they are installed it is not so with your setup. The bulbs go in one way and if they don't work correctly you need to remove and reinstall 180 degrees. Try this and if they still don't work remove the load equilizers and try it without them. If the turns are blinking to fast then you have the bulbs in wrong and you will have to turn them 180 degrees. I hope this helps.
BTW, I checked with a friend that runs this and he doesn't use the load eqalizers. He also said the Kuri directions were very good and worked exactly has thy laid it out. And, check the instructions on installing the bulbs.

Mike, I have done notthing to the front bulbs, it has just started on the front. Do you still think that the bulbs are installed in the back? Should I have the red wires and the blue wire connected to the gree/yellow wire? Enquireing minds want to know. I cant ride my bike! LOL
I had already checked to see if I had installed them correctly. I dont know.

looking at the book for the front turns the orange and light blue are always powered for running lights.
when the switch is activated it sends power through the orange white or the light blue white

I would remove all the wiring/parts you added and make sure everything works in the stock configuration. Once you do that then add the Kuri Run/turn/brake part as per instructions. If you don't need to add the equalizers then don't. My friend has use that on 3 of his bikes and has not had to use the equalizers and he uses the Kuri mini bullets on the back of his bikes. When doing changes to something it is always best to only do one change at a time. that way you know what is causing the problems.

it looks like you have the kury wires hooked up to the running light side of the circuit for the front turns, now I don't know if that is right or wrong

Well, I just looked and I was suppose to get red dual filament bulb with the Kury Deep Dish bezels I ordered. If I got them I never saw them.
If you look at the instructions it says:
"The control module is compatible with stock rear single-circuit turn signals, as well as
custom single-circuit lights and LEDs".
This means you can use it as a Turn/Brake (single element bulb 1156) and as a brake it will flash 3 times and then stay on or as a turn signal. If you want both RUNNING lights and Turn/brake lights you need a dual element bulb.

When I ordered mine the bulbs came inside the packging with the DDBs.

Thanks for the green/yellow wire. That got part of it fixed.

Yes this is the wire the clamshell connector for the Kury-Blue wire goes. Thanks Charlie.

Thanks Mike. Picked the bulbs up this morning. I also installed one incorrectly and fried it. That fixed another one.

All the wire colors listed on that site were right on.
Finder, I used the link to verify what was left of the wiring I initiallyy did. Plus it let me know to move the blue wire back to the brown.
It's done, I'm happy.
Thank you all!!!!

Oh man, if I did'nt have you guys for this stuff, I dont know what I would do!! Fewer mods. because I would be paying someone else to install them.
SO, how many people does it take to install a Kury 4611? Well, 1 idiot who does not have a clue and 3 or 4 who know what the hell they are doing. LOL

I just installed the Kuryakyn set up on my 1300 S this past weekend and had many of these same problems, My end solution was to remove the Kuryakyn pins from there plugs and re-solder all of the wire to pin conections. Lights were all working when I finished the first instalation and this went quick and easy. Then as the day of riding went I thought that I had bulbs burning out or a short somewhere. As I said before my problem was a bad factory solder assembly on the wires. I hope this helps someone.
