Power Commander troubles

Went on a long ride yesterday and everything running and working A-OK. This morning the bike wouldn't even start. Finally got it running and it farted and gurggeled (is that a word?) and ran like crap. Put new gas in it and pulled the plugs etc. Finally unplugged the Power Commander and went back to the stock Honda plugin and it ran fine...except for the decel popping.

My question is...Is the power commander garbage and will it have to be replaced or can it be fixed/reprogrammed?

my buddy had the same prob. he way able to sent it in and get a new one.

Check and make sure all connections are good and well connected. Upload a new/different map and see what happens....if no good then see if you can get a new one.

The rear HardKrome straight had to be removed to get me access to the side cover that was hiding the ground wire. Once I tightened that up the power commander started sending info to the laptop right away. I reinstalled everything and went for a ride and no problems.
