Kuryakyn Hi-Five

Hi folks, I am new to this site and tried to search out who may have put a Kuryakyn Hi-Five air cleaner on thier 1300? I did not get any hits on the search. Anyway, I have one ordered and believe that my stock carb jets should be ok. I have Samson Warlord pipes with the short baffles in them. I am assuming I will really only need to tweak the A/F jet?

Read the sticky/thread on the 1300 board on carb tuning. Do the SCAR mod to your carb; 2-3 shims should do the trick. You'll have to do more than just tweak the A/F with changing out to that airbox.

Thanks, I'll do that. I read it twice already. I did the pair removal today and when the new airbox gets here I'll do the rest. Thanks much!
