So i was pulling the plugs out to check them, and I accidently pulled too hard on the spark plug wire instead of the boot and pulled it apart. Then when i tryed to pull the boot out, it broke! I managed to get it out with no further damage. :icon_shak
Do i have to replace all 4 plug wires now? Is that hard to do? where do i find the distributor at the other end of the wires? I've replaced plug wires on a vehicle before and it was easy, but never on a bike.... Help!
Also, the ends of the plugs are black and sooty looking around the tips and first few threads. Does that mean I'm running too rich or too lean? Do the plugs need to be replaced or can I just clean them up with a wire brush. I took pics but the fle size is too big to attach? don't know how to shrink it.
