Died and wont start

I havn't started my bike in a month. I started it with full choke and it ran for a min and then died and wouldn't start again. It has gas. Then it killed the bat as I tried to restart it. HELP

Check your plugs and see if there fould

Yep, probably fouled the plugs and a weak battery from sitting.

if it ran for a few minutes then you may have the tank vent pinched or the vac line to the petcock may have come off.

check them and also make sure the gas is turned on.

you can charge the battery with a slow charger not over 2 amp input.

Also check to make sure that the kickstand plug didn't come loose with it rev'd up...happened to me.

Same thing here, followed all procedures on book, checked fuses (all fine) plus all of the suggestions here, nothing....still won't start. Changed plugs and all. Tank vent.....where is it? vac line to petcock?
Sorry for the dumb questions, newbie here :)

on the petcock are two hoses ..the one in the front is the vacuum line. 1300 fuel systems are vac assist..no vac no gas.if it comes off gas flow stops

holly macarroni! you are a genious syhman! the hose on the front was loose where it connects with the small plastic "T", attached it back and VROOOOOMMM VROOOOMMMM!!, thanks a lot :)
