I am wanting a large bag for my 1300 for long trips. There is a company called Jafrum that has what i am looking for. They say it is heavy leather, but at under $60 I wonder what kind of quality I would be getting. Has anybody got anything from Jafrum? What do you think of it? Thanks

Leather has it's good and bad points. Leather looks good, and will hold up fairly well and will shed water. On the bad side after a while it starts to get limp can fade through time , seams are not water proff, some has openings that allow water in. Get good thick leather and use a water conditioner on it to keep the seams water proff and the leather soft. another solution is cordura witha gore-tex liner or a rubber liner. i have a small t-bag I use at times that is made of cordura and has a rubber liner with one large opening around 8"x18"x 12" with 3 smaller pockets with one folder pocket. I really like it but there are so many bags for the sissy bar and t-bags it is almost endless. Go to google and do a search for motorcycle tail bags, you will be busy trying to figure which one, there are so many

T-Bag makes great bags. I have a backpack/briefcase style. My bro in-law has the TBag Tahoe which he used in London for a week and half last summer. It was his only luggage outside of his brain bucket.
