Lookin for some 1300C wheels. Anyone have a set they are lookin to get rid of?

Gambit, I see you have a R model. When buying C model wheels be aware that the stock tire on the C model will not fit under your R model fender. The stock tire is a 110-90-19 and you will need a 120 70 19 to go under the fender. This is unless you want to raise your fender up an inch.

I ride with a guy who has a 1300 Retro that has stock C rims and tires.. and has no prob with the fenders.....

Then he must be running a front tire that is not a 110/90/19 that came on that wheel from the factory. The stock tire on a C Wheel is to tall for the R Model Fender. It is so tight that you can't even get the axle back in the fork legs.

I am sending Gambit an apollogy for the comment on the C model wheels. I put a 110/90/19 on a 04 1300 S tonight. I tried this same wheel on another R model and it would not fit. Come to find out the bike had been wrecked in the front end and the tire was hitting the damaged fender brace. A 110/90/19 on a C model wheel will fit in a undamaged R/S fender without changing the tire size. I stand corrected. Green Ghost

no worries.. I wasn't sweating it.. like I said, I ride with someone who has stock stuff and it fit.. so I knew it did.. :wink:

I'm allset, got a good deal on ebay $142 shipped. Now to ship to get it Chromed!!!!! To go along w/my 18c wheel thats already been chromed.
