The forum style has been converted and the new vB version is being updated now, should be a week or two till complete.
In prepairing for the new features we will need help with the following:
TIPS: I would like to add a common "tips" page, we will have html pages for it so we can lay it out however we wish.
MAINTENANCE: Same as above, just gonna take time to write the info and a group effort would be awsome.
And any thing else you guys/gals think we can add or you would like to help with please post here.

I'm not sure if this should be a section, but I always thought it would be cool to have a database of local bike nights by state. Maybe you could enter your zip code and it would display any bike night within a certain radius. I think that may be too complicated for VB, but maybe you could use the "shout box" and let people enter only bike night locations or just have a section for it.

Hey Big-X and Porkeater,
I think all of those ideas are great for adding to this site. Maintenance, mods/tips, bike night site...all would be welcome by me and I'm sure many others. I'd love to see a bike night with X-riders in the metro-Charlotte area sometime this spring/summer. Would welcome the opportunity to meet everyone.

I like the idea of separate sections on tips and on maintenance. How about a section on rides? Folks could post descriptions of rides around the country with directions, suggestions for food stops, gas, etc. That way we could have a wealth of info in one place.:icon_boog

Just bringing this back up, anyone interested in helping with this project?
I have added a Maintenance Tips and Exhaust Sound page and linksed them at the top. I need help in gathering links to good tips or help writing some up. It will take some time to do all this so any help would be great.
As for the ride info, we have a calendar that has great capabilites, any ride added to the calendars shows up and even has rosters! I have added a few individual states but have not added anymore since it takes alot of time and so far it's not getting used.
If we have a few people interested in watching for rides and adding them I can make a new usergroup for those people with editing abilities.

How about adding in a section outside of maintenance, titled Upgrades/Modifications? You could have anything from chrome add-ons, windshields, performance upgrades/mods, Foots Mod, Clayton Root Mod, etc. and the reviews on these mods. could be contained within the thread. Possibly even put separate categories within that section, i.e.--Exhaust, Frame (triple tree changes/rake changes, lowering) & Suspension, Engine (Carb Jetting, Intake, etc.), Chrome, Windhsields, etc. Maybe put that in place of the products review section.

Sounds like the current review section, but that's not getting used often...any reasons? I'm assuming since it seperate people forget about it.

Right, maybe pullling it into the front page or putting a link up top to that section would encourage more use of it; just an idea.

Ok, I have added those sections, have a looks and see how you like it. We can add or move anything if needed.

Looks very good Big-X; thanks for doing that. I just posted a thread in the 1300 forum the other day titled "Advice re: Kury Swingarm Cover." Maybe move that over to the "Chrome/Misc." section, since it's a chrome cover.
Thanks as always for your efforts.

What about a sticky or stickies or even a section about FAQ?
