HK Big Straights and saddlebags

Hi,

I just bought a set of used HK Big Straights for my 2003 VTX 1800R, and I was looking at an online wholesaler catalog, and it said that saddlebags are not to be used with these pipes. I can't see a problem if the saddlebags are high enough to not touch the pipes. What is your experience, and what bags do you recommend? I am looking for some that attach to the bike without a yoke. I have been looking at Saddlemen and River Road, and I have also been considering some Rakoposhi bags that I saw on eBay. Thanks.

I have Honda bags with by HK bigs and no problems....
