Welcome to the board, and this thread should really be under the regular 1300 board and not in the classifieds.
In any event, since you have changed out to aftermarket pipes with more "freeflow" re-jetting would depend if you are making any changes to the airbox set-up. Adding a K&N filter? Using a K&N replacement in stock airbox? Modifying stock airbox or adding an aftermarket high-flow airkit? If you are leaving everything stock at the airbox with a stock paper filter, "most" people don't need to re-jet. If you leave this stock, you may notice some decel "pop" since the aftermarket pipes flow more air and don't "cover up" as much of that noise (baffles in the stock pipes are pretty restrictive). If you notice the decel "popping" in your exhaust sound with these V&H's, most people either disable or remove the PAIR valve (smog/emissions stuff installed at the factory) and that usually eliminates the problem. You'll usually get some more sound/rumble out of aftermarket pipes by removing the PAIR system.
Also, make sure that your pipes are fastened at the head and torqued to the proper specs. to prevent any air leaks. Hopefully you installed new crush gaskets there when you switched out the pipes. Also, after the first 100-200 miles I would recommend checking the torque values on the acorn nuts again where you attach the pipe to the head, as sometimes they can back off a little during that timeframe (i.e.-a "break in" period).
Whether or not you decide to upgrade for performance at the airbox is up to you. Since you're letting out more air, you can certainly take in more air/fuel and boost the performance (HP and torque) on the bike.
Anyway, good luck and let us know if you have any other questions.
