<^>^<^>PCH 2008 TOUR DELUXE<^>^<^> Planning thread for one heck of a ride

This is a call to the Arizona and Californis riders that are looking for an interesting ride.

Ride the the pacific coast highway!

Starting in Phoenix Arizona Friday the 18th or Saturday the 19th of April, to San Diego California and head north until I we get tired or run out of days off.

This ride will enjoy some of the most spectacular scenery the west coast has to offer.

I would like a show of interest.

This trip is going to happen one way or the other.

Depending on how many respond I have no problem changing the start point, that was my original thought. There is plenty of back raods that avoid the interstate north of LA!:choppersm

:D Starting point will be I-17 and Carefree hwy, head to wickenburg and go west to Twenty Nine Palms approximately 260 miles. First day could be a long drive.:choppersm

You're killing me DDannen. I used to do that ride once or twice a month, and when my job made me drive to OC from SD 3 months at a time, I would always line up my stops so I could take PCH all the way home. It's different in a big a$$ van, but it's beautiful in a convertible and even better on a bike. The ex and I took PCH all the way up to San Luis Obispo. God that was awesome! I'm having serious sunshine / motorcycle withdrawal right now. I'm going to go home and hit the bottle.

There has been very little interest in the trip :hmm2: but whether there are additional riders or not I will be riding the PCH.

I hope time permitting to be able to go as far as Washington. There have been two others that have accepted the challenge and the decision on distance will be democratic :)

I have schedule more than two weeks of time so that will not be a problem for me!

Thanks I can do that, presently there are three of us that are going and I'm OK with that and if we can meet up with others along the route that would be cool too.
