my question is about the use of a center stand ? anyone have any input, i was thinking about it earlier seeing that i order a new rear suspension and was told i must likly will have issues with the stock kickstand. i ordered the barons all chrome air suspension and was told that fully deflated on the bump stops the bike would sit damn near perfectly vertical with the stocky on there. anyone have this problem or is he bs'ing me. anyways anyone know of a company who makes a center stand for our 1800's. ty in advance

I can only tell you that I have seen a center stand on a cruiser not two weeks ago. The guy I was riding with had custom center stand installed on his Harley. At first I thought, what a waste of monies and then we got to talking and I realized that he no longer used a side stand. The center stand was easy to employ and when you wanted to take off you just drove and the stand would tuck up under the frame just in front of the rear tire. Looks like a great addition/replacement. That is the only center stand I have seen on a cruiser. Check out the local HD boys!

If you're still looking, this site has a centerstand showing for the 1800 but it doesn't come up when I click on it for more info. Maybe you can give them a call...
