I am looking for a wireless-Bluetooth system for rider-passenger. I currently have an information overload, too much information. The local Honda dealer did not recommend the one they sell,- Scala Rider Team set- too many returns. Not actual returns, they do not accept returns on electrical parts, must deal directly with manufacturer.

Some are partial Bluetooth, as they must be wire connected from rider to passenger, such as the J&M & Auto Com. Any advice. If it helps I have a GPS Zumo 550.

They dont like the scala eh? Me and the wife really enjoy our scala rider team set. Im sure there are other options but the scala works fine for us.

I also debated a long time on what Bluetooth headset to buy for a long time. I narrowed it down to the Scala Rider or the BlueAnt Interphone. I finally bought the BlueAnt Interphone for $200 for the set. I am real happy with the purchase. My wife also rides her own bike and they also do well for communication up to approx. 500 ft apart. The biggest thing people complain about is the battery life. It gets about 10 hours in standby and about 4.5 hours in the talk mode. That works fine for us, we just leave them in standby and then when one of us want to talk you just press the button and it triggers both headsets, but it is something to consider. It's hard to get much better battery life out of something portable. Take a look at their website:

You just press the button once from the standby mode and then you can both talk back and forth all you want.

Does it have an FM receiver built in or is it just for communication? I have been looking at the Scala Rider FM for use with my Sirius radio also.

No it does not have an FM receiver, it is just for Bluetooth Communication.
