The Details are coming in! Colorado Ride in July 2008

If you haven't checked our website Eventpage recently you might have missed the details that are filling in and that this years Ride is starting to take shape.

From this point on, be sure to check it every couple of weeks to keep up to speed. And of course, now that we're into 2008, we'll start making more posts with the important goings on. "CO Ride - Event Page Here" (http://coloradovtxrangeriders.com/rideinjuly/rideinjuly.htm)

I'm really excited about this year, even though many things remain the same, there will be new Rides for you to experience, new activities to keep your interest, and new friends to meet.

Rockies Baseball Tickets (2007 National League Champions) and Fireworks Show, the best evening of entertainment available, seated in a perfect section, 318 (319 last year) and the first 5 rows, to see baseball and the fireworks is only $19.00. We have a light rail station less than 1/4 from the Event Motel, so you can enjoy a few adult beverages without the fear of riding.

Meet and Greet Dinner - Thursday July 3rd, 6:30 pm, dinner for 130 of our closest friends will once again be at the Trail Dust Steak House. All you can eat Side and Salad buffet with an order of your main entrée, all for the reasonable price of $19.00 (all inclusive - tax and tip). What new? Well, besides the entrée choices of chicken breast, 10 oz sirloin, 12 oz rib eye, we have added a 12 oz prime rib to the menu. Is that all? Nope. Last year we had a 1/2 keg of beer and I'm sorry to say, it didn't last long. This year, your friends in CO will be supplying you with a full keg of Coors Light. Supplying as in free, on the house, no charge. Please enjoy, but drink responsibly. We don't want you to fall down the hill as you walk back to the Motel and miss the banana hammock show Spike puts on every year in the courtyard as he parades around room 131.

Game Day Barbeque - Catered at the Motel Saturday July 5th at 7:00 pm by Bennett's BBQ, rated CO's #1 BBQ. Three meats, chicken, sliced pork, beef brisket, and all the sides for $13.75, kids 12 and younger $9.00 (all inclusive - tax and tip). My only comment about this great food is to get in line ahead of Git 'R Done and Bluto, these boys can eat.

Tickets for the Game Day BBQ and Rockies Baseball / Fireworks are pre-purchased and will go on sale with the Event Wear in early March. The Meet and Greet, pay the Trail Dust Steakhouse directly.

We're supposed to see the new logo prototype's for 2008 next week. As soon as it's finalized, we'll post it for you. The ride maps and water will again be supplied for the rides, as well as soda and munchies on the courtyard. Don't forget the additional door prizes above what we receive from our dealers and vendors.

Rides are taking shape. Six (6) completely new or revamped Rides. Even though you recognize some of the names, it won't be the same ride as last year. We have the destination the same but the route will be different to mix it up. One of the totally new rides will be Pikes Peak and taking the COG Railway to the summit. Keep your eye on the Rides Page to select your rides and the Schedule Page so you'll know what day we offer it.

Any idea where this is? This is Devil's Gulch road. Look interesting? Another totally new ride for 2008, the Devil's Gulch Ride offered Sunday July 6th.

Our Event Motel, the La Quinta DTC in Englewood has come to terms with us giving us another great Group Rate. The motel is ours to occupy, $72.00 per night, how can you beat that? No charge to your card until day of check in and should the unfortunate occur and plans change, you can cancel your reservations up to the day of check in at no charge. We only have 5 rooms booked, we need to let them know we're serious, so give them a call. Courtyard rooms are still available!
