I am planning on adding Wiseco high compression pistons to my 04' 1800C. I am currently running a BAK, PCIII w/ custom map, and HK Sideburner. I live in Colorado Springs and have been told by a couple of guys here that our altitude will not accommodate the needed increase in air to really make this mod effective.

Since I will have to pay someone to do the work, I really want to make sure it is worth the money.

Also, I was planning on getting these from *********, but are there any other sets out there?

Any advice/experience in high altitude appreciated

I have raced in Denver for over 15 years and we al way cut the compression down.
The more you change the more you will have to change.
Just a thought

Bill, you'll have to forgive me. I don't know a thing about motor work.

Are you saying that you would put in the pistons?

high compression pistons does not require more air it will work fine ...i had high compression on mi yamaha roadstar and i route from new york to california the bike was running perfect on high altitude

you will have to go to higher octane gas with the higher comp
