I cant answer for the pipes you are asking about. I have an 06 "S" and just got finished putting Hardkrome Strippers on. I now have a permanent grin. My buddy has Bigshots and they sound good too. Is there anyone near, you could listen to their pipes? Whichever you choose you will be pleasantly surprised.

Slow!!!..Trying to smooth the edges better, and it's slow going....Can't rush it, or I'll just screw it up, and waste all the time and work I've spent on it thus far...
Also had another project pre-empt my plans...Future mother-in-law's furnace blower crapped out on her...We ordered a new motor, and of course it was the wrong one!! Got the right one, and installed it last night..It's in a mobile home, and apparently when the blower seized, it took out a limit switch with it...Got it working by wiring a plug into the wiring, and plugging it into an extension cord...Tomorrow, an HVAC guy is supposed to go finish fixing it for them...I got there yesterday to find all the pipes frozen...They left water trickling, but apparently not a strong enough stream...Got the heat going last night, and Jen stayed to help thaw out the toilet tank...By the time I got home, (40 minute ride) the house warmed up enough to thaw out the pipes...Then two big leaks surfaced...One at the washing machine, flooded the hallway, and the other was outside at the main water lead....Jen's brother-in-law fixed those today....Been an interesting 24 hours!!!..Jen's mom doesn't exactly have $$$ pouring out of her rear, so Jen bought the first (wrong) motor, then I paid for the second one ($120 that I had put back for a Cobra Fatty highway bar)...It's a good feeling to help someone out that needs it, but it sure was cheaper back when I was a self centered a$$hole that didn't do squat for anybody!!..LOL!!!..I've hijacked this thread long enough now.....

Its all in the wrist. The loudest of pipes are fairly tame if you stay out of the throttle.

I have the V&H Big Shots on my 1300R and lovem, They are louder shifting from first to second, but; if you do not romp the throttle their ok. My son thinks it's cool when we rumble by and set a car alarm off.
