    Question Oil Change -- WalMart?

Someone posted somewhere the synthetic oil and filter part numbers I could get locally at WalMart. I looked for the thread, but couldn't find it.

Anyone know the Mobile 1 oil and filter type? Someone also talked about Purolator...?

I'm changing my own oil today, so any info would be helpful...

    Thanks!

the wall mart super tech filter works and I believe is made by wix.

The MC specific mobile oil is 10-40 "racing 4t" full synthetic if you want to go that way.

Walmart sells the Shell Rotella 5w-40 synthetic gallon container for about $16 that many people use but the purolater pur1 oil filters : pl14620 (long) or pl14622 (short) are sold at advance auto and some other stores.

Nope, I'm doing it now. I ended up going with Honda Pro HP4 - 10W-40. My stealer had it at a pretty good price. My WalMart sucks. Not a whole hell of a lot in stock. It's a blended oil; synthetic and mineral. And, I just got the dinky little Honda filter. Next change, I'll go full synthetic and get a bitchin' filter.

If you want to stay with OEM quality oil filter at a less expensive price
go to the Honda car dealer and buy an Accord oil filter (p/n 15400-PLM-A02) and the crush washer is also an auto part p/n 94109-12000

Be careful about aftermarket filters, they are not as good as advertised!!
