Next thing you know, someone will start a thread about battery tenders or something.

That cold Lake Erie weather is just tailing you, Chuck. Probably would do the same if you went to equatorial Africa or Fiji.

Clothing with Gore-tex filler in gloves, boots , vests. Wool or woolrich. Rubber boots with felt liners. Typical northern hunting gear.

Or worse, some of the usual suspects on the Cafe will start making fun of us.

It's 10 degrees right now in Colorado, time to fill up the tank and park it for a while.
It was a good year, made my 10,000 miles again.

Milwaukee makes an electrically heated jacket that uses the Milwaukee M12 Lithium battery as a power source. They say ~ 6 hrs. run time on a battery and you can get extra batteries and just unplug one and plug another right in. The jacket that I have is yellow with silver reflective stripes on it. I won it in a raffle at the electrical supply house that I use, but I understand that you can get one for ~ $100.00 complete with battery and charger. Battery goes into a pouch inside the jackets left side pocket (that is open in the picture) and plugs into a short cord that is inside that pocket, looks to be pretty easy to change.

Boy if they don't see you coming in that jacket they have got to be blind or stoned!!!!!!! When I tried to take that picture with the flash on all I got was silver streaks and the rest was so dark it looked blacked out. Had to turn off the flash and use ambient light!!!!!

Don't really know Matt, as it has not been cold enough to wear it until the last couple of days. Talked to one of the guys at the supply house that had already had one for a year . He said that there were three heat ranges and he told me that he had never had his temp set any higher than medium and it was too hot for him at that setting. I will start a thread about it after I have had a chance to use it on a couple of rides and let everyone know what I think of it!
