    No More Victory

So according to Polaris as of yesterday morning they have shut down all production of the Victory motorcycle line. Apparently they must continue to produce parts for ten more years. According to the release this move is to concentrate on the Indian line that Polaris also owns.

Too bad as far as I am concerned. I ride with quite a few Victory guys and it always seemed like a nice , well built bike to me.

Also do not overlook that Honda has eliminated most of its Cruiser Class motorcycles. No sure why. Must be some reason in the market of this class. Maybe everyone is riding a crouch rocket or dresser bike these days?

I get most younger guys are on crotch rockets or sport tourers but the main group taking up riding is still older f*rts in their 40's and 50's and 70% of the bikes I see around here are still cruisers of some description. And of those, 70% are HD ....

Sad story... many of their models are great-looking bikes with a killer engine...
