    Look at what Triumph is doing. They are targeting hipsters and such with the revamped Bonneville line and are doing well. That bobber is kinda wacky but they are selling. Their cruiser line is dying off. Sign of the times I suppose.

    there's a glut of low-miles used bikes out there and then there's those of us who put lots of miles on the bikes. Heck, around here you can almost name your price on a Vulcan 900 or Suzuki C50 as many quickly outgrow them.

    It really wasn't that long ago that bikes didn't last long but now we keep them longer.

    Harley is trying to become more relevant. Might just be in time. These things go in cycles. (No pun intended). We shall see. Showcasing American made bikes might lure some back, and maybe spur on more American development, as in new companies opening up with affordable rides.
