Sunny Sunday riding, who did it?!

Saturday and Sunday were unseasonably warm days here in the Piedmont of NC. So much so that I think every motorcycle owned was out and about this weekend. My wife and I did a short ride on Saturday, and then a nice 4hr trip up to Lenoir, up Hwy 268 to Wilkesboro and back home (Statesville) on Sunday afternoon. I counted more bikes than cars out on the road! I hope that anyone else here on the forums that was able, got out and rode, and had a safe and fun journey. I have a drift cam mounted to my helmet and put my videos on YouTube. I'll be uploading this latest ride soon.

Let the spring time riding begin!

Got some miles in this weekend. Incredible record breaking 84F yesterday! Felt so good to hit some back roads and let the horses run. I just love the power of my bike. Nothing else like 2 wheel riding!

I hit the road for a bit Saturday and Sunday. It was in the upper 30's to mid 40's here in Minnesota. Yes that counts as riding weather. It was pretty chilly in the low spots and Sunday we had some strong wind gusts that made it feel colder than it was but I still got out on 2 wheels and loved it. Even rode the bike to work this morning, it's supposed to hit 45 today.

    Ah,

180 miles on Thursday... 220 the Thursday before that.. OK, I am done.
South Texas.. where are all the motorcyclist AT... not down here..

yesterday.. we had winds over 45mph... but it was 86.... try living in an 8x30 box with tires, in that kind of wind... good thing I do not get sea-sick easy.

I video my rides, but don't really "take pictures" as I didn't really stop anywhere to take pictures. I'm hoping as it warms up and I can get into the mountains, I'll be able to make side trips and stops...and will take pictures. We got a late start on Sunday so it was all about just making the loop and getting home before dark.

I don't really take pictures on my rides either. If I want some stills I'll usually get a frame capture from my video. Maybe not as clear as stopping but a hell of a lot easier than stopping and spending 10 messing around for a 30 second picture.

Have had a few rainy days off and on. But we need them very badly...
But out riding as much as a fair weather rider can...

I rolled 380 +\- on Sunday to Linville Falls then Asheville then back home the scenic route. Shall repeat this coming Sunday as the forecast is identical.

My pics are generally of beer flights and bar maids.
