    I think I will just pull it all off. There has been no mod to the air box or filter (other than the k&n) I'll keep it just in case I do mod the airflow furth

    I, unfortunately, have worked and had school the last 4 days and one more. Haven't even seen it since Monday. It has been raining a lot here though so don't feel as bad. Planing on messing around more on Saturday.

    Ok so much overdue update. I apologize I took the kids on vacation and have been finishing the semester so not much time for tinkering. I also ran into a few snags, 2 of the 4 screws holding the airbox on were stripped out, had to drill them out, didn't hurt the threads though so when they were out I was good. The after market fuel mapper is gone, just had the gas light turn on at 125 miles. Much better then I was getting before. I am going to go through 2 more tanks putting seafoam in and then I will change the plugs again. I am noticing a lot of popping now, down in the pipes though, so I think I need to do the reed valve removal. How do I tell if the bike is a California edition? Thanks for all the input. I will update as I get through more tanks and have a better average for yall.

    Well still haven't run through more than 2 tanks of gas so I do not have a good estimate of the gas mileage back to stock but seems to be doing much better. I was presented with an opportunity to buy back my 1300 and a 1997 valkyrie in immaculate condition. Only catch was I was going to have to sell the 1800. But I decided to do it. Thanks for the help with the fuel issue, I believe it is resolved, but it is the last work I will do on this short lived bike.
