Location of OP Fog Lamp (3P MINI) Connector on 2006 1800N

    Hello all,

I have a copy of the wiring diagram for my 2006 1800N, it shows what looks to be a 3 wire connector for Fog Lamps. Does anyone know where this connect might be located on this year and version of the VTX?

I did try some keyword searches but didn't find anything identifying the location of the connector.

    Thank you,

    Paul.

Is that connector wired up to shut off power when you hit the high beams? Or is it always hot with headlight. I want them on all the time when I finally install lights

if you see the wires.. not for powerful lights... more like for forward facing tail lights.

I ran a dedicated circuit from my aux fuse block that I installed on my tool box cover, through a switch and to the lights. My driving lights are on all the time mainly so people can see me. I have an LED headlight and LED driving lights for lower voltage draw and brighter lights.

From what I can see in your sig pic, that looks like what I would want, or something close to that. Going for function rather than aircraft landing lights like I see on many HD bikes around here. We have smaller headlight buckets so small driving lights would look good. I'm having a hard time picking anything out these days. I think I have OCD now lol

Here's a better pic. It's a Showchrome Contour with mini bullets. I replaced the 55 watt halogens with 9 watt LED's

Very nice looking. Did you just pull out the halogen bulbs and drop in LED bulbs, or replace the whole light assembly?
