    16 Babbits or Bike bandit?

    Taking a poll-ish....

Who has had better service from either of these vendors? Who has had bad service from either?

Im about to drop a lot of $$ and I would rather spend with the vender that has better customer service, so looking for advice.

Long time member but rarely post. This may change as I have begun rebuilding my 1300 that was in and accident a few years ago.

All I can say is never place an order with Bike Bandit unless they have the all the parts in stock and ready to ship. I had an order on hold because one item was back ordered and it held up the rest of the shipment. Other than that, all the other items shipped fairly fast.

I have used Bike Bandit for parts on my Triumph. They told me up front it would take longer because they had to get the parts from Triumph themselves. I didn't need them right away so it was no problem. It was still cheaper even with shipping than going to the dealer.

most of these vendors have an in stock or not in stock, do multiple searches and depending on parts, a couple of dollars wont matter much, especially if they dont have the parts for you.
cheap cycle parts, dennis kirk, jake wilson and others work the same. most of the better ones even have free shipping after 89 or 99 depending. again, a little search, a little time, will make time for you, with a little extra time a mosquito once was known to be friendly with an elephant and....oh on, thats another thread . i want to make sure i remain politically and socially correct, since many of you dont know me...
hi i'm Monte and i'm a (many things...i'll stop here)

ps: havent used Babbits in a while, Bike Bandit in about 2 years. kirk, i just used to drop ship a tire to a mom and pop i always go to...my $.02

Bike Bandit sucks, but sometimes they are a necessary evil as they stock more OEM parts than many others. I did well with J&P Cycles. Their service is great.

sometimes you dont mind paying a little more, if service is great and parts always on hands, then of course, there's the timely shipping part, lol

I've always used www.partzilla.com - awesome prices and quick shipping. Just don't order something that says "back ordered"

I ordered a rear brake disk & a couple other parts from "partzilla" last week. They sent me a rusted disk. Talked to Chris Powell in customer non-service & sent him pics of the disk. He sent me a prepaid shipping label by email & said they would send me a new disk right away. I sent the old one back Saturday. They still have not shipped my replacement. He has not returned my calls!
