How much fuel comes out of the Fuel Pressure Regulator when removed?

Sorry, don't know if this is as urgent as some but I need to find a quick answer. I received my Fuel Pressure Regulator and when trying to replace it there seems to be a lot of fuel coming out of it when I loosen the bolts. How much fuel comes out and does it actually stop? I don't want to flood my garage with fuel if I go to far but am really trying to get it done before it gets too dark. Thanks for any help!!

That is what I was afraid of.... How do people remove the tank with fuel still in it? Well it looks I have to bolt it back up and go get a 5 gallon gas tank tomorrow.... Thanks.

Thanks. I actually did some more searching to find out about removing the tank and found the same thing. Went back out and loosened the bolts a little and some more came out but then it stopped. A bit more came out when I removed the hose but wasn't bad. Now my FPR is on. Thanks.
