Get the stock Yuasa or a GMan battery.

    stock
    http://www.directlineparts.com/produ...pid=501&str=12 $89.99

Or an almost life time battery from GMan $113.95
    http://gmanindustries.com/product_in...products_id=61

I buy food, toothpaste, paper towels, toliet paper, books/supplies, oil, washer fluid but I won't ever ever buy another battery from walmart...not even for the lawn mower.

Two comments on the 'ODYSSEY Battery, Model PC545' ad.

The Cold Cranking Amps rating on the Odyssey is less than one half the OEM batteries that come is our bikes. That may be a problem in cold weather.

GMan Industries statement "Do Not Use Battery Tender. Doesn’t need it, and it will short cycle your battery" is true. Battery Tenders may damage AGM batteries. AGM batteries are designed for long storage times. They are not designed for continuous charging. There are very few people in the industry that understand that.

    Geezer.

Geezer, I really appreciate that piece of knowledge, I did not realize that. Thank you very much for sharing it- it could be what killed my cheapo Xtreme battery from Batteries Plus.

Wikipedia has a good introductory article on valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) batteries. The VTX stock absorbent glass mat (AGM) batteries are a particular type of VRLA battery.

We have to be careful of advertisements for unexpected low prices for AGM batteries. It's common practice for vendors to relabel inexpensive wet cell batteries as AGM or VRLA. The "buyer has to beware."

    Geezer

I would not buy a battery from Wal-mart. Simply because I know where they are made and the issues that often go along with them.
    Just my $.02.

Where did you find the CCA on the Odyssey?

All I can see on the Odyssey is 545 AMP 5 second Pulse,,,,

    YUASA YUA-YTX20HLBS (1800) Battery has 310 CCA
