    Best Brake Pads?

    Greetings,

I need to R&R rear brake pads. Any suggestions for best replacements beside Honda's brand? Thanks in advance!

Got EBC pads on the front of my bike now...Very noisey when I hit the brakes...When these wear out, I'm back to Honda pads....

Honda OEM's are just about the best out there.

Hey guys, just curious about how many miles you expect to get out of the OEM pads on an 1800, and which typically wear quicker, the front or rear pads? Thanks a lot!

For me I would say that the rear pads wear a lot faster, but then again I don't use my front pads 90% of the time. It really would depend a lot on your braking style.

As for brake pads I am curious about those as well. Some people say the EBC are noisey, well my stockers are pretty noisey as well lol. And they squeak a bit more than I would like (checked they still have plenty of meat on them).

aris, the EBC are a bit noisy, but it's hard to explain the noise. It's almost like a "buzzing" sound, but seems to be on the front brake only, whatever though, they're my choice of pads. I did say the OEMs are "about" the best, but IMHO the EBC has better stopping power.
