I dont personally know of any support groups in here. But I can say this whole site is full of support. I have seen it happening.
Who knows this may be something you can get rolling and offer support while getting support. I have never had any issue to dela with like addiction other than Chewing Tobbaco. I also have kids, so when my then 5 year old daughter said to me. Ew Dad that is gross, I put it down and walked away from it. I know that is nowhere near dealing with chemical addiction, it's as close as I could come to undestanding what other people go thru.
I hope the best for you in dealing with this. If you feel like you need to get something off your chest put it up here. People here will listen...
By the way:

jason and jim:
thanks for your advice and encouragement. I am 6 months sober from the booze. I don't have any issues with people that can handle their stuff and have a beer or two. i can be around it, no worries. in fact, i like to see people having a good time. i have beer in my fridge for guests. i'm not born again or anything like that. I was just curious to see if anyone was on here, especially in the NC area of Wilmington, so that if i wanted to make some riding friends with the same focus, we could hook up.
Jim: is that chrome stripping along the underside of your tank?? if so, where do i get that!!
thanks!!
Cheap door trim from autozone. 25' piece was around 10.00 if I remember. I bought it for my truck and tried it on the tank. It svaes the paint if you take the tank off. It also get criticism from the hard core group. I really dont care what other's say tho. When they give me grief over it, they get the bird. I think it looks good and serves a purpose. Besides that it's mine and I like it....
It is really easy to put on and it was my first true mod I did on my X..
I attached a little better picture of my cheap chrome and autozone LED's.

Jim, do you ride with the blue lights on? That is really sharp looking. In our state that would get you pulled over. The police have no sence of humor about blue lights.
I think those blues would really look good on my ride.
I have never had a problem with my blue lights, I come from a family of police and everyone has the thought as long as there not flashing and not facing forward. I know in CT its amber and clear to the front, but it says nothing about colors to the rear

I used to have a problem with BLUE LIGHTS and ORANGE JUMPSUITS.
Been clean and sober since 2/15/2004.
PM me if you need a FRIEND.
I "CELEBRATE RECOVERY"
I am a month away from the 25 year clean and sober mark
03/17/1987 is my date.
Many of the CMA are clean and sober and around here they don't have a problem with an outsider riding with them.
I ride with some that like to drink now and then and my only restriction is if you drink before or during the ride I go off my own way, then after the ride do what you like.
