Hey...........now I am interested too. MORE CHROME!!!!!!!!!!
The threaded rod was the most difficult part except for the triangle that fits in between the exhaust ....they take some patience for installation but the results are worth it.
I'm not going gray, I'm going chrome

Love mine. Isn't hard to install, and is pretty easy to clean once you get familiar with it. Haven't had any issues with it so far.
I just put mine on, really looks sharp. I had doubts but after I got them on it was like WOW! that really dresses up the lower engine. Search around, I found them for $144 online and bought them from West End Motorsports (they will match or beat the price). Although after seeing Bills painted, I like that to, really nice looking.

Wow, thanks for this tip, David! I hadn't noticed this on mine but fortunately it had not worn through on mine yet. So, I just filed it down a bit (took 2 minutes) and should be good to go now.
That being said, like everyone else I love this chrome addition, too! It goes well with their chrome frame trim covers (which I also have).
Not to try and hijack this thread but I'm now looking at getting the Kury chrome brake and shifter covers as well as floorboard covers and rear premium floorboards. Does anyone have these and how would you rate them in relation to the engine cover?
Just put them on my 2007 1800T...make sure u are aware if u have aftermarket pipes they will not go on as per instructions. I have Cobra Longs on mine and it was a challenge getting them on. The back portion of the set did not sit flush on the rite side. Had to use a long screw drive and attached an allen wrench and go in from the left side to screw in to right plate. The bottom plate right plate and back plate could not go in as one piece as per instructions had to go around the pipes to piece together. Otherwise love them. Looks really good!!
quality is good. Metal chrome too, not any of the plastic nonsense. Only issue is if you have an aftermarket exhuast it might be a little tricky squeezing things into where they are supposed to fit.
Had to do a wack of fitting, bending and swearing to get mine on but when it was done,,,,it was chrome,,,and it was good.
Lots of mods
With my dooleys, since the ignition is relocated, I had to do a little grinding and cutting, but the finished result is worth it
