    who knows...

fyi.. pavement racers do not use a clutch except for first gear... and drag bike racers use air powered shifters.

max braking can only be obtained using all 4 fingers ...
and under some conditions.. the rear brake can be used to help steer a bike around a corner but NOT by ME...

Yes they made it a point over and over to us to use all four fingers to brake. I never thought about rolling on throttle by accident but makes since.

Besides answering and calling on the phone most of the day, I managed to get a couple more bad LED connections fixed. Looks good again, until the next long ride and they screw up again. Then put the tank back on, turned the key, fired it up for about a minute, to make sure that much was OK. Tomorrow I will attempt to pull the plugs and add to the info that I screwed up by not tightening my exhaust flange nuts quickly enough. If OK then, will double check all connections, throw the seat on, and hit up a shakedown run to Sheetz for some fuel.

This was yesterday but changed the spark plugs and attempted to change the clutch/brake fluid (didn't finish the fluid but that was posted in another story). Took for a quick spin to make sure she rode ok.

Mityvac. So easy to pull fluid through, 10 minutes my front and rear brakes done.
Would work on clutch if you have a bleeder bolt like brakes I'm not familiar with 1800.

It does. I forget what brand of vac pump I have but it's priceless in times like that.

Thanks for the info. As RJ64 said, it does have a bleeder. It is located under the cover on the left side by the oil dipstick. I was going to do it the old fashioned way. Remove the old fluid with a turkey baster and clean the reservoir with paper towels the fill with new fluid. Then just flush/bleed the lines till new fluid came out. We will see how that goes..

    Old way still works.
    Micro-Vac hand pump.... works better.
Air Powered Vacuum pump is fastest...
