Flag Mounts???
I want to mount flags on my S for ceremonial use.
I don't have a handy luggage rack on which to mount. I do have the Raptor bar. Please suggest mounts for me. Thanks! Joe

Works OK for my US Flag and my MIA on my Patriot Guard rides. I am thinking of a trailer hitch on my 1300R for my 3'x5' flag for the slow rolls. Just thinking though. That is a lot of money for a Trailer Hitch and never wanting to tow a trailer......

I used the plastic ties for a parade I was just in. I put 2 on each mirror stem to hold a small flag. I did the same on each side of the sissy bar to hold 2 bigger flags. Worked great, then I just cut the ties afterwards. Pdave ![]()

I use Glens flag mounts too, they are top notch. What I did to compensate for the Honda OEM billboard was to take it off the bike, and cut it down to the exact size of the plate. So I still run the Honda plate mount (which I like for the retro look), but it fits my plate exactly, yet I can still use Glen's flag mounts without any modification.

I guess Duct Tape is out hun?
3X5 is going to make a lot of drag. My foot longs tap my on my back. they are mounted on my luggage rack near the seat back. |

I us my big flags all the time. What I do is get you 4- radior camps. Mount it on your passager foot pegs. Use the clamps to hold the pole and then gett you a buge cord and us it to keep the flage in the upright position. Just go across the passager seat.
I have run 65 mph with no problem. |

Hmm. I've got passenger floorboards now. I guess I could just take the wife along and get her to hold em. lol.

![]() I have a couple of those car window flags here...I cut the part off that fits around the window glass, and zip-tied the rest of the "pole" to the sissy bar upright....Had it on for Memorial day, and after a few weeks it was getting kinda rough around the edges...Cut the zip-ties, and took it off until next time....I'll probably put it back on for the Honda Homecoming road trip...

Hey Orange, thanks for calling me hun; I assume that's a term of endearment and not an ancient ethnic group. ;-)
As for the pegs, that's a good, cheap idea. I'm looking at the smaller flags though, like up to 16". A luggage rack would make it easy, of course. And you're right, Bass, duct tape is out! Thanks for all the creative ideas! |

I have a question as to what type of flags to use with this, On the site that is listed on Glens site (www.schoolspiritandpride.com) there seem to be two types of flags for sale. There is a sissy bar mount and a trunk mount. I dont know which one to order for using with this mount, as neither of them look right to me. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.
