100 days today and I haven't stopped smiling yet. Hat's off to everyone at the Cafe who answered even my blondest questions. With your help I've turned my bike into something that is uniquely mine. I've been riding for over 41 yrs. now. My 1st bike was a brand new Honda 125 Scrambler. Have had many bikes of all brands and types. Have slowed down some and the VTX suits me to a T. Easy to work on and fun to ride. I'm wondering what to do next. I have a Stebel horn and a fork lowering kit to install and when the rear tire wears out I'm sure I'll do the Foot's mod. I'm thinking some fat front forks would look good. What does everyone think? Who makes them for the C? Just how are they installed? Do they just go over the fork? I know nothing about them. LOL How about raking the front? Would it look better? How much? What are the pluses and minuses? Hope to see some of you down the road. ThanX a million.:cheers

You know, that was more than likely someones pet. Unfortunately they were poor pet owners or the cat got out of the house. Outside cats and dogs that run free anywhere but out in the country is just asking for it.

Bootman ,love what you have done to your bike,looks great, the black on yellow is very unique , Kewl metal makes fat fork tubes for your bike and ya that would look good and as far as lowering your forks just let me remind you that if you get into your pegs now on the twistys you will really get there fast if you lower the fork tubes as far as raking it out that is up to you but I like the way it is now and tell me when you want to do the foots mod ,I have one on mine now and am planning on a different wheel come spring and will sell my 1800 wheel to you,I have the 1300 rotor machined to fit the wheel so all you have to do is bolt it on and ride no need to change caliper.

Why make a joke about a dead creature, you get a grip or keep it to yourself. Decency is what is lacking here. You seem to lack it just as the other two do. Have no time for that type of attitude! When was the last time you put this much effort into speaking up for our men and women in uniform who are dieing to support the belief that not only you but I as well have the right to say what we believe? I'm sure you are going to come back with a post now saying how dedicated you are bla-bla-bla. Somehow I doubt you have ever defended the right for me to say what I believe. Just yourself.

Well, you have no idea who I am so as far as YOUR babble about speaking up for our troops you will never know. I can say I do, or I dont but it will make no difference so will not even try. Now as far as freedom to say what you want, when it is mean, heartless and without any decency, or making light of death(just like the a**holes who have been making the rounds to funerals of our fallen heros) No I feel you do not have the right. Sometimes you have to sensor yourself to be a decent person! Just because you can say something does not mean you should....and no, I did not call you an A**hole so dont even go there. Whoa! Didn't see the twist in this thread coming.LOL Appreciate the thoughts on my bike. Checked the Kewl Metal web site and saw the fat forks. May hold off until I decide if I will rake or not. I will need a different size if I do. By the way my cat is fine, I may try to get a better pic where he looks a little more animated.LOL I love my cat like a child but I still got a chuckle over the free cat pic although I do feel a little guilty about it. JDT3 I'll keep in mind the tire. What are you going to replace it with? I'm sure many are looking for a 1800 used wheel. ThanX Cafe. Keep riding and smiling.
