I need to buy a brand new Fuel Tank for my 1800F1 (2007).

Most sites list them at $2300+, BikerBandit has them at $2000. This place, www.cheapcycleparts.com, has it at $1778.54


Just curious if this is a good (if legit) place because my bike has been sitting in my garage for over a month this summer and its crying to be ridden. IF its a $30-100 purchase, im not that worried, but seeing how its close to $2000, kinda want some feedback assurance.

I've purchased many OEM gaskets from there for my '85 virago. Also some hard to find old headlights. Prices are reasonable, returns are good. they provide return label (for small item) for me in the past.

I say go for it. If it makes you feel better, call them up, ask what they can do for you.

Why not look for a used one? they are out there and for a lot less. If you use a credit card you can have the charge reversed if you don't receive your product.

I have used CheapCycleParts for all my OEM parts needs for a couple years now with no issues. I would recommend them.

Trust me, I have been looking at every possible used internet sites, salvage places, and everything in between. I would love to get it used, even with dings, scratches, or even pink!!!! BUT.....

F model VTX bikes are insanely hard to find, and only their model gas tanks (2005-2007) fits on the F bikes. HEck, even the F1 and F3 have slightly different mounting stuff.

My Bike has been sitting in my garage for almost a month with no riding and its driving me......

wow...thats insane...$2000 just for a gas tank. could almost have one custom made for that price.

I've used them twice, no problems. E-mail confirmation of order, e-mail notification of shipping, and order tracking. Heck, the first time I ordered from them, about the time I was expecting an e-mail saying the parts had been shipped, they were at my door.

HDL parts has the tank listed at 1623.00 lot of cash in my book, try ebay?
